Kids

Our Heavenly Father has made every child special and in His image and He loves them dearly – and so do we. At Ev we partner with parents and caregivers to see children across Auckland share this vision.

We provide a safe, caring environment so that you can focus on the service, while your kids are learning about Jesus, having fun, and making friends.

We can’t wait to meet you and your little ones.
Three Columns

Preschool

Children from the ages of 1-4 years are taught and cared for by our lovely team of female leaders.

We read stories hearing week by week about Jesus. We sing lifting our voices, hands (and sometimes feet!). We make crafts to bring home and show the whole whānau.

Primary

Our primary school kids aged 5-9 get together to sing, play games, and in peer groups guided by our male and female leaders, we memorise and learn the Bible.

The passages and topics are the same as what mums, dads, and caregivers hear in the service so that at home you can continue talking about God together.

Fusion

Fusion exists to see those in school years 6-8 dig deep into God’s word together and launch well into their teen years as mature disciples on fire for Jesus.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I check in once I arrive?
We have a kids registration and check-in table as you walk into church – you won’t miss our friendly leaders’ smiles.

What if it’s my first time visiting?
Welcome! It’s great to have you with us. Find a seat and join the service as we sing to God. There will be a Kids Talk after we sing, and then the Kids Talk leader will explain where the kids can head off to – feel free to go out with your children, drop them off, and come back to the service.

If you have questions about easing in, someone will be there to have a conversation about this or give us a call to chat through any questions you may have beforehand. Our hope is that you will feel comfortable with the settling-in process and that as a result, your child will feel relaxed and confident in joining in.

Who will be teaching my children?
Our leaders are people who love Jesus and share Him with kids at a level that they can understand and engage with. They are all New Zealand Police Vetted and Safe Ministry Trained.

At Ev Kids the safety and well-being of your children are at the heart of every decision our leaders make. We provide a safeguarding culture where our leader training enables them to identify risks and take mitigating actions to keep your child safe.
