Getting to know each other

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience at Ev Church a great one!

What can I expect?

How long is an Ev Church Service?

In total, an Ev Church service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with the Ev Church band leading the church in music – song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with singing songs of praise and worship however you feel most comfortable.

After the music portion of service is complete, the MC will share announcements on what is happening in the life of Ev. At morning church a Kids leader will then come on stage to share a message to our kids and then give time for them to move into the kids program.

We’ll then pray and read a passage of the Bible together. One of our pastors will then come out to share an encouraging and hope-filled message about Jesus connected with the passage. On the conclusion of this message the band will then come up to lead us again in song. The MC will then close the service.

After each service there will be an opportunity to share food together either at morning tea or dinner depending on the service you go to.

What’s the culture like at Ev Church?

Sundays at Ev Church are exciting, casual, and relaxed. Come as you are and expect to feel welcomed as our guest.

What about my Kids?

We believe that kids should have a blast connecting with God’s Word at church every single week – and at Ev Church, we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our Kids program the first time that you visit. You’ll want to leave yourself an extra ten minutes to get signed in for the Kids experience. Kids ministry is offered at our morning services for kids at preschool through to intermediate school.
